blahwaffleblah works closely alongside our clients to ensure that the final website looks exactly as envisaged and does everything that it needs to. From the original design brief to the site going live, we will take note of every feature request, advising when something might not work as well as wanted or making suggestions for better, alternative solutions.

Regular updates

From the first meeting where ideas are floated to the final handover of the finished product, we will keep in constant contact, always available by email or telephone or in person for any queries, suggestions or updates. The site, while being designed, will be available in a private environment for the client to watch its progress and check that everything meets its approval.

Accessible to all

blahwaffleblah takes pride in the fact that all of its sites meet Web Standards and comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (and international equivalents), and will discuss specific accessibility needs with the client before producing a design.

We do not believe that sites should be limited to those with super-new computers or ultra-fast connections, so we aim to build every site to work properly in practically every browser on every platform available, from 8-year old Macs to the newest mobile phone.

It's your site, not ours

The design of the website (and, of course, its content) will be owned by the client - we will never sell you a design built for a previous client or sell anyone else your design.

If, in the future, you chose to use another designer to make updates to the site or host it elsewhere, we will provide you with the complete code and source files, to make the handover as smooth as possible.

Maintenance

To keep a website up-to-date is no easy task. Adding new content often requires detailed knowledge of how the site was built and how the web in general works. blahwaffleblah works to make this as painless as possible, building sites with easy update functions and quick ways to add content.

We also make ourselves available to update the site and add new content when required, either on an ad hoc basis or on a regular schedule.

In addition, we will be happy to train members of your organisation to add new content themselves. Training sessions can be arranged at times mutually convenient to all parties.
